How do you change or batch change the File Extension or File Type of photos?


Change File Extensions on photos, photographs and pictures


How to - change a photo's File Extension
  1. Select the thumbnail(s) or photo you wish to edit
  2. Select the 'Save' icon in the main toolbar:            Save icon
  3. Select the 'Options' button
  4. Select the 'File Type' tab
  5. Check off:   'Change File Type'
  6. Change the 'File Type Extension
  7. Change any other desired option
  8. Select 'Save'

How to - change a photo's File Extension using Batch Edit

You can also 'batch edit' (batch process) the file extensions of multiple photos at one time.

  1. Just Select 'multiple' thumbnails in Step 1 above.
