How to - edit or change the photo information meta tags of a photograph

The best way and also the easiest way to edit to change digital camera picture metadata tag information, is to use PhotoSurfer's built-in Meta Tag Editor.

1. Select the thumbnail or photograph you wish to edit
2. Select the 'Info' icon in the main toolbar.  (left side of toolbar)            
3. Edit and change the appropriate tags
4. Select 'Save'

Meta Tags can be very useful when organizing and documenting your photographs.

Photo Tags (EXIF, IPTC, Metadata, Meta Tags) are bits of information that are stored in some types of digital photographs. The tags store information like the date and time the photo was taken, the camera settings and make and model.

In addition to the camera data there are meta tags available to add or change information such as:
photo date and time, title, photographer, keywords, subject, copyrights etc.

The meta tags also provide an easy way to sort and organize your photos into groups for viewing, printing, emailing etc.
